As a critical member of the Brightline Station Operations team, you will assist the Station Manager's direct daily operations and all aspects of the business within the station, keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do. While working closely with the Rail Operations and Security teams, and liaising between additional departments, you remain focused on ensuring a smooth and efficient, hospitable and comfortable travel experience is encountered by all our guests.   • Oversee the last remaining arrival and departure for the day.
  • Confirm that the F&B team has completed and restocked all needed items necessary for the opening of both the PL lounge and the Mary Mary lounge.
  • Conduct final inspection by utilizing the Measure Up program to grade our teammates closing performances.
  • Ensure that the station is secure after the last train has arrived / departed and confirm that all guest and personal have left the station.
  • Work alongside the security team to be first responder in case any emergency occurs during the overnight shift after security has exited the building (fire, water leaks, trespassers, alarms).
  • Take inventory for both the Market and Mary Mary to ensure that all par levels are up to date.
  • Ensure that all food is properly rotated based on date of expiration to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Confirm that all of the closing duties have been completed for each department.
  • Spot check and oversee overnight cleaning crew to ensure that all areas are being managed (main lobby, bathrooms, concourse, platform, etc.).
  • Set up all lounges with early mornings offering in anticipation of our first guest arrivals.
  • Place coffee and complimentary beverages in the morning to welcome our first set of commuters.
  • Ensure that the station will open on time and be the backup in case any manager is delayed arriving as scheduled.
  • Pre-shift AM team with company updates.
  • Hand off station to AM manager and discuss anything of importance that will impact the guest experience.
  • 2 or more years of operational experience in a hospitality operation.
  • Natural people person, comfortable with guest service, retail, food, and beverage sales.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and be on your feet for hours.
  • Sound judgment, thinking and acting independently, expressing clear and effective verbal communication skills.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience with ensuring policies and procedures are closely followed.
  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and dependability.
  • Comfortable navigating across various computer applications.
