About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist at our Pharmacy Fulfillment center plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of medications dispensed to customers. This position involves collaborating with other pharmacists and pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of quality assurance, compliance with regulations, and customer satisfaction. The pharmacist will also provide clinical guidance and support, investigate errors, and ensure that all pharmacy operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment, with additional licenses as required
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal communication
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Ability to lift 20lbs for warehouse work

Responsibilities

• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all produced packet and bulk sets undergo a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all production relative to new business lines undergoes a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks including checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approval.
• Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction.
