About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to join its world-class team. The Boston location is a glass skyscraper in the heart of the Back Bay, featuring 215 guest rooms and suites, a five-star urban spa, chic restaurants, and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space. It also houses 160 private residences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess a keen attention to detail, and be a skilled problem solver. This position involves significant contact with guests, local law enforcement, and other hotel personnel, requiring excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The role is physical in nature, requiring the ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements

• Skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for up to 8hrs per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Excellent Human Relations skills; able to deal with difficult situations in a positive, effective manner
• Accommodating and approachable demeanor a must
• Excellent investigative skills and report writing skills a must
• Must be familiar with all Window applications

Nice To Haves

• Previous Security experience or similar (law enforcement, military, fire rescue)
• First Aid and CPR certified

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel and residence premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Circulate among guests, patrons, and employees to ensure safety and protect property
• Work nights, weekends and holidays
