About The Position

Securitas is seeking an Overnight Security Officer for a full-time position in Sullivan, MO. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in military or law enforcement, as we encourage former service members to apply. The position offers a wage of $18.50 per hour and requires working 32 hours per week, specifically on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1 PM to 7 AM. As a security officer, you will be part of a team that values integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, dedicated to safeguarding our clients' guests, property, and information. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are a plus.
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Maintain superb professionalism under all circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Truck gate access control.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
