About The Position

The Overnight Security Officer position at St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. involves providing unarmed security services in East Pittsburgh/Monroeville. Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional-level work experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, and/or customer service highly desired.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
• Energetic and focused personality with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, golf cart, and/or bicycle if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
• Conduct walking, vehicular, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols of assigned areas.
• Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, and emergency situations.
• Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and lobby security.
• Write detailed incident reports during shifts, noting unusual activities and resolutions.
• Contact appropriate individuals as directed by site post orders or as needed during shifts.
• Know and implement site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response activities.
• Follow all company procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and adhere to grooming standards.
• Participate in all required orientation and training programs.
• Respond to incidents during shifts in accordance with Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy.
