About The Position

As a School Age Head Teacher, you will:
Lead and facilitate engaging lessons, enrichment activities, and after-school programs for children ages 6–12
Supervise and guide cohorts of up to 17 children, ensuring safety, structure, and inclusivity
Build a positive, nurturing, and fun environment that fosters learning, creativity, and curiosity
Develop trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues through consistent communication
Apply positive behavior management strategies with empathy and patience
Follow and uphold all health, safety, and program policies

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience leading school-age classrooms, summer camps, or after-school programs
• Passion for working with children ages 6–12 and seeing each child as capable and unique
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
• Flexible, creative, and able to adapt activities on the fly
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safety, health protocols, and inclusive learning environments
