About The Position

E.A. Sween is hiring an Overnight Route Driver to deliver fresh food products to
convenience stores safely and on time. This is a hands-on, active role for
someone who likes driving, staying busy, and working independently.

You will drive a 26 ft box truck on an assigned overnight route and deliver
products such as sandwiches, milk, bread, and bakery items to store locations.
This role includes unloading product, checking in deliveries with a tablet,
picking up empty trays, and making sure each stop is completed accurately and
professionally.

This is more than just driving. Drivers also help verify orders, complete
required paperwork, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep the truck
clean, and report any maintenance concerns. You will work both on the road and
in warehouse conditions ranging from 38–70°F, as well as outdoor weather
conditions.

Requirements

• 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license
• 3+ years of route delivery driving and box truck backing experience
• Comfortable with overnight hours, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs with a four-wheel dolly
• Comfortable using GPS, written directions, and a delivery tablet
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, lifting assessment, and MVR review
