Overnight RN / Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

Summary: Our Langhorne residential program offers gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adult men and women in Bucks County and surrounding areas. We empower women to cope with trauma substance-free and support men with education, therapy, and medical care in a structured setting to overcome addiction. Our LPNs and RNs ensure labs are addressed, reviewed, and manage physician orders. Job Description: Work as a team member with other nurses, providers and other caring professionals. Communicate with other disciplines to ensure client needs are being met, involved in chart monitor-identify and carry out action plans. Review and follow detox protocols. Assist staff in high volume shifts, prioritizing and organizing the shift, completion of the unit scheduling. Orientation of new nurses as needed Administer medications and complete MAR Complete labs necessary for treatment (HCG, urine, BAC, glucometer) Administer IM and SQ medications and Narcan as needed Ensure labs are being addressed, reviewed, obtaining and transcribing of physician orders. Follow proper consent procedures. Involved in Performance Improvement Projects. Nursing competency and evaluation completion. Follow Evidence Based Practice guidelines Nursing assessments, treatment plans, medication administration, vitals, follow detox protocols and other medical protocols along with assisting medical provider as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in PA.
- Current BLS card.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
