About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent role in a post-acute and long-term care setting in Tyler, Texas. This position offers a consistent overnight schedule and the opportunity to provide autonomous clinical care during night hours.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Texas RN license.
- Ability to work consistent overnight shifts.
- Strong assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience.
- Prior overnight or charge nurse experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care during overnight shifts.
- Perform resident assessments and independent clinical decision-making.
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders.
- Respond to changes in condition and overnight clinical emergencies.
- Coordinate with on-call providers and leadership as needed.
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs when applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
