About The Position

LOD Staffing is seeking a reliable and motivated Overnight Onsite Employee Supervisor to coordinate all activities related to Overnight Post-Event operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with event policies, safety standards, and performance expectations while supporting a large, diverse janitorial staff to meet venue requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates effectively, and maintains professionalism while managing up to 80 employees during event shifts.

Requirements

  • Flexible schedule required; event days and shift times will vary based on venue needs (typically 6–10 hours per shift).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions on the spot.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient with computers and tablets; must be comfortable using Outlook, Excel, and Word for reporting.
  • Working knowledge of janitorial equipment (vacuum cleaners, mops) and cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address cleaning or maintenance needs.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motion tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Shift Supervisor, Lead, or Onsite Coordinator in a janitorial, custodial, or facilities environment.
  • Experience working in large event venues, stadiums, arenas, or convention centers.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and coach diverse teams effectively.
  • Proven leadership ability to supervise and manage up to 80 employees during a shift.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure employees are properly checked in, clocked in, and clocked out during Event and Post-Event shifts.
  • Conduct pre-shift orientations/debriefings to communicate event policies, assignments, and expectations.
  • Perform pinpoint checks throughout shifts to confirm staff are in assigned areas and completing duties effectively.
  • Serve as the liaison between the LOD Staffing Account Manager, Recruiters, and the client management team.
  • Address and resolve performance concerns or client issues as they arise, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide detailed shift reports summarizing attendance, staffing issues, incidents, and order changes.
  • Complete all required incident and accident reports accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain effective communication among all staff, leads, and management during shifts.
