Overnight Medical Waste/Sharps Container Class B Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM
About The Position
This individual will be driving trucks across the Baton Rouge area as well as working in our warehouse. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers in a box truck (26 feet) from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Requirements
- Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
- Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment

Responsibilities
- Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
- Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
- Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
- Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
- Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
- Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
- Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
