About The Position

Join MedSpeed as an Overnight Medical Driver in Mansfield, OH, where you will play a crucial role in delivering health by transporting medical supplies, specimens, and materials. This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.00/hr, with a shift differential for hours worked between 10pm and 5am, bringing the rate to $17/hr. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screenings.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Load and unload the company vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to varying route assignments based on client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
