We are seeking an Overnight Hotel Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. Role Summary: To oversee the operations of the overnight housekeeping operations and assist in covering Overnight MOD responsibilities. Additionally, this position will be maintaining the structure and well-being of the department by controlling payroll costs, supply budgets, forecasting and staffing guidelines. Exemplifies the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and service experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort, with concentration within the housekeeping function.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Housekeeping Manger and /or Assistant Front Office Manager role at a comparable resort property (quality, size, rate structure, amenities).
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Patience and Integrity.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult situations.
  • Calm under pressure: must have the ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, effectively prioritize work and assignments, and accurately meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in management in a AAA Five-Diamond, Forbes Five-Star property.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences. Assist in the training, mentoring, supervision and motivation of team.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Knowledge of Forbes Five-Star standards.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Previous Opera PMS experience.
  • Previous HotSos program experience.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
