The Overnight Manager will oversee front office operations of the front office staff, cash control for agents, staffing needs, and guest services. Additional responsibilities may include training, staff development and scheduling. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members. This position will be the manager on duty during the overnight shift.

Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • 1-2 years previous front office supervisory and/or management experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader
  • Effective communicator with exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays and overnight shifts
