The Overnight Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of Dellshire Resort facilities during overnight hours. This role performs preventative maintenance, repairs equipment and building systems, and responds to service requests to ensure the resort remains fully operational and guest-ready for the following day. The ideal candidate is skilled in general maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and working independently while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred (hotel, resort, or commercial building experience a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair common facility and equipment issues.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems or work order software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on resort facilities, equipment, and building systems.
  • Respond to overnight maintenance service requests from resort operations and guest areas.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems when needed.
  • Conduct overnight inspections of resort property including guest areas, pools, mechanical rooms, and exterior spaces.
  • Maintain and repair lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and basic carpentry components.
  • Support pool and aquatic facility systems including pumps, filters, and mechanical components.
  • Monitor building systems such as boilers, water systems, and HVAC equipment.
  • Assist with minor construction, painting, and general repair projects.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and work orders through the property management or maintenance system.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
  • Assist in preparing the resort for daily operations by completing overnight repair work.
  • Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or facility concerns to management.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Support other engineering or maintenance tasks as assigned.
