About The Position

G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Overnight Lead Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Scope of Work: The successful candidate will assist in the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or similar related role
  • Ability to communicate using email, and some experience working with a computer
  • Available to work evenings/weekends and overtime
  • Knowledge of lite plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lock smith, painting, HVAC etc.
  • Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to address any operational issues and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with management on building status, changes, task or projects has been fully finished and all obligations have been met
  • Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
  • Always act in a professional and courteous manner with clients, co-workers, vendors, etc.
  • Preform assigned preventative maintenance tasks and make recommendations for repair, replacing or improving equipment
  • Perform light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and carpenter duties as assigned
  • Assist co-workers with major electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry related projects
  • Track and document observations, recommendations, and completed assignments through various project and maintenance software systems
  • Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices
  • Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Ability to learn new skills and be independent as well as work well within a team atmosphere
