Overview The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the member locker rooms while providing excellent customer service to all members and guests.

Requirements

Requires strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail
Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure
Ability to lift 20-25 pounds intermittently, and occasionally 50 pounds and to frequently reach overhead, bend and kneel
Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite and energetic
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel, private club, fitness center or similar hospitality housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

Enhance the locker room experience by creating memorable moments through exceptional member service
Maintain the cleanliness of member’s locker room and restrooms
Keep supplies stocked including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotions
Maintain and replenish all locker room amenities such as hair products, deodorants, and other toiletries.
Routinely deep clean showers, sauna, and steam rooms on a daily basis
Regularly walk through the locker room and restroom, assessing cleanliness and cleaning when necessary such as taking out trash and emptying laundry baskets
Coordinate all laundry services for monthly locker members and ensure clean laundry is placed adequately within a timely manner.
Check daily use lockers and log any items left behind to be placed into lost and found
Ensure TV’s and music are on appropriate stations and volume
Assist members with setting/resetting their locker combinations
Communicate any member feedback with the manager on duty and/or the departments involved
Interact with members, guests, and fellow team members in a respectful and professional manner
