About The Position

The Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor is primarily responsible for all Housekeeping and Laundry operations during the overnight hours. This position serves as secondary management support to the Front Office and Food and Beverage upon request.

Requirements

Prior management experience in hotel operations or 3 years Supervisory experience, Housekeeping preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
Professional electronic and written communication ability
Ability to work long hours and 3rd shift

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the Spa and Kitchen and public areas and for promoting safety and good guest relations.
Conduct nightly above area inspections to assure quality of cleaning is to our standard.
Directs the work and any special projects of Overnight Cleaning associates during assigned work hours.
Assure ongoing training, coaching, and development of housekeeping associates.
Coordinate and maintain the overnight housekeeping schedule.
Assist with the interviewing and hiring process of overnight housekeeping associates when possible.
Responsible for proper utilization of operating supplies, materials, and equipment, to avoid waste, promote safety, and maintain departmental fiduciary responsibility.
Responsible for Overnight inventory of items needed to clean assigned areas.
Ensure payroll and overtime are well controlled by monitoring the activities of each staff member.
Maintain departmental policies, standards and procedures.
Identify and reports maintenance related problems.
Assist Housekeeping Manager and Director with other tasks as necessary.
Receive and organize weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cleaning projects in all areas of the hotel.
