An Overnight Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the hotel, ensuring that every corner reflects the elevated luxury standards expected at a Forbes 5-Star property. This role involves not only maintaining designated areas of the hotel but also responding promptly to guest requests, anticipating their needs, and ensuring that all spaces are meticulously cared for. The Overnight Housekeeper's attention to detail and commitment to excellence are integral in upholding the hotel’s reputation for providing personalized and refined guest experiences, contributing to our ongoing pursuit of exceptional guest service and financial success. As an Overnight Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and service in designated areas. In support of the hotel's efforts to achieve and maintain five-star service, complete assigned cleaning in public areas or guest rooms, respond to guest requests, and complete special projects to enhance the overall guest experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will ensure that all areas meet the expectations of luxury and excellence.

Requirements

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the pristine condition of the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms.
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of the level of service and cleanliness required to reach Forbes 5-Star standards.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while ensuring consistency in quality and service.
  • A proactive attitude, responding promptly to guest requests and anticipating needs before they are voiced.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
  • A commitment to upholding luxury service standards, ensuring that every task is completed to perfection.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and strength, as the role involves manual tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, and performing deep cleaning duties.
  • A passion for providing exceptional guest service, contributing to an overall experience that aligns with the hotel’s luxury and Forbes 5-Star standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain designated areas to uphold the hotel's cleanliness and condition standards.
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned.
  • Regularly inspect assigned areas to proactively identify and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Deliver supplies, and amenities to departments, guest rooms, and storage areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the housekeeping and operations teams.
