About The Position

The Night Auditor at Residence Inn Austin Round Rock plays a crucial role in ensuring guests have a seamless experience during their overnight stay. This position combines guest services with financial responsibilities, requiring a detail-oriented individual who can manage both hospitality and accounting tasks effectively.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field; supervisory experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• Proficient in Windows spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
• Friendly, service-oriented with excellent communication and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests during the overnight shift (typically 11 PM - 7 AM) and assist with check-ins, reservations, and inquiries.
• Prepare and finalize Night Audit work ensuring accurate daily transaction balancing.
• Conduct security walks to ensure guest and property safety.
• Prepare daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management insights.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations and exceptional service.
