About The Position

The Overnight Front Desk Associate at 24 Hour Fitness plays a vital role in the Club Operations team, focusing on member engagement and guest experience during overnight shifts. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, assisting guests with membership inquiries, and maintaining relationships with existing members. The associate ensures a clean and safe gym environment while promoting club services and products.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.).
• CPR and AED certification from an approved organization is required (training provided).
• 6-12 months experience in a customer service function.
• Basic computer skills for using 24 Hour Fitness systems and other common applications.
• Strong customer service skills and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Prior overnight shift experience preferred.
• Experience operating multiple phone lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members receive a friendly greeting/check-in and prompt attention to their needs.
• Maintain relationships with members and serve as a resource for their questions or concerns.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate through proper management channels when necessary.
• Be present on the club floor and locker rooms, helping keep a clean and safe environment.
• Conduct team cleans and identify equipment and/or amenities in need of service.
• Help guests become comfortable in the club and offer tours, discussing amenities and answering membership questions.
• Inspire guests to achieve their personal fitness goals and present 24 Hour Fitness in a way that connects with them.
• Ensure new members are set up for success by meeting with a Personal Trainer.
• Sell retail products and generate additional club revenue by maintaining a proficient knowledge base of current retail products.
• Encourage members to refer guests to try the club and offer in-club promotions.
