About The Position

Veterinary Referral Associates is currently seeking Overnight Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join their team! Signing Bonus Available for qualified applicant. We have multiple openings for skilled technicians who will be valued as integral members of the patient care team. Enjoy a rewarding work-life balance with our 3-day workweek with set schedules, consisting of three 13-hour shifts per week and four consecutive days off.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience as a veterinary technician is required.
• Strong technical skills: IVC placement, phlebotomy, radiology, and vital signs assessment.
• Proficient in safe patient restraint techniques.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication and client service skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and people oriented.
• Demonstrates sound decision-making and multitasking abilities in high-stress situations.

Nice To Haves

• LVT, CVT, RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage and prioritize care.
• Conduct vital sign assessments, IV placement, phlebotomy, and radiology.
• Administer medications, calculate dosages, and provide nursing care.
• Communicate with clients, educate them, and advocate for patients.
• Handle advanced procedures such as ventilator support, central line placement, chest tube maintenance, oxygen administration, CPR, blood transfusions, and ECG monitoring.
