About The Position

The Overnight Closer at Planet Fitness is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests during overnight shifts. This role involves managing front desk activities, ensuring a positive member experience, and handling the closing procedures for the business day, including creating accurate bank deposits.

Requirements

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including answering phones and assisting callers.
• Check members into the system and facilitate new member sign-ups.
• Take prospective members on tours of the facility.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close the shift for the business day and create a bank deposit for the next day.
