About The Position

The Overnight Distribution Center Supervisor at TJX Companies is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the distribution center. Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in a supervisory role within a distribution center or similar environment.
• Previous experience managing diverse teams of 20+ associates.
• High School diploma required; College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, coaching, and development skills.
• Proficient in math and PC skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.

• Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate an efficient, productive, and safe department while meeting daily production requirements.
• Ensure high levels of quality and service in the distribution center.
• Spend a minimum of 90% of the total shift on the floor reviewing orders and directing associates.
• Manage day-to-day activities within the department, including planning, flow, and resource allocation.
• Develop and motivate associates to maintain high morale and company culture.
• Build effective relationships with business partners, including management, HR, and transportation.
• Communicate effectively with associates and management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Review practices and processes for constant improvement and make recommendations.
