About The Position

The Advocacy and Resource Center is seeking energetic, motivated, and caring individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This role offers a life-changing opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As a DSP, you will ensure the safety of our residents during overnight hours while assisting them in maintaining a clean and safe home environment. The position includes responsibilities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. This role has the highest earning potential among our Direct Support Staff, and we offer flexible weekend and weeknight schedules, with additional earnings available for weekend shifts. Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• A clean, valid New York State driver's license
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of residents during overnight hours
• Assist residents in maintaining a clean and safe home
• Prepare meals for residents
• Perform cleaning duties
• Handle laundry tasks
