About The Position

Alethia Social Services is seeking Overnight Direct Care Staff to provide essential support to female clients in their group homes in Tucson, AZ. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being during overnight shifts. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Article 9 Prevention & Support Certification.
• DCW Certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Medication administration certification (if applicable).
• Valid driver's license with a demonstrated safe driving record.

• Experience in direct care or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide ambulation and transfer assistance to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments and local trips, including grocery shopping.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and dishes.
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes.
• Plan menus, shop for groceries, and prepare meals, ensuring proper food storage and cleanup after meals.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication administration as needed.
• Provide companionship through activities, discussions, encouragement, and reassurance.
