Aspire Health and Community Service's Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program responds to individuals and families experiencing mental health emergencies and acute psychiatric symptom exacerbation. Our team provides rapid crisis support across the South Shore, including Braintree, Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, Milton, Norwell, Quincy, Randolph, Scituate, and Weymouth. MCI team members meet with individuals in need, conduct evaluations, and make recommendations and determinations for referrals and level of care. Open 24/7/365, MCI provides immediate support to individuals with a diverse range of clinical presentations. Crisis Clinicians have the opportunity to gain comprehensive diagnostic and clinical skills with a broad population, including children and adults! This dynamic work is fast-paced and clinicians receive clinical supervision for each client seen by an experienced, independently licensed supervisor. The schedule for this position is Thursday/Friday/Saturday, 8pm-8am. Competitive salary plus $8/hour shift differential for working on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday-Friday 8pm-8am!
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other mental health discipline
- Training in assessing adults in crisis, as well as competency in assessing children and their families in crisis
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Crisis Intervention setting or related field placement in a Crisis Intervention setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols
- Experience in providing follow-up and referral services to ensure continuity of care
