Overnight Cleaner
About The Position
This person would be responsible for cleaning hallways, emptying garbage, delivering linen to multiple places and floors and other duties as assigned by Overnight Supervisor. Since opening the doors in 1916, the Omni William Penn Hotel has played a starring role in the city of Pittsburgh, hosting movie stars, politicians, heads of state and leaders of business and industry. Requirements
- This person must be able to push at least 200 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and kneel and reach closet shelves, ,windows, ledges, pipes, under beds and behind furniture.
- Continuously standing and/or walking to accomplish all that is required for position.
- This person must be able to communicate effectively through a nextel phone and radio.
- This person must be flexible and able to work overnights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- This person should be organized and willing to follow a checklist
- Responsible for night duty check
- Completes guest requests
- Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment
- Removes room service trays and carrying dirty dishes to service area
- Carrying dirty linen to laundry chute
- Carrying supplies from department to assigned floor
