About The Position

Bross Street Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and reliable Overnight Caregiver who is passionate about supporting older adults in a warm, home-like environment. This unique opportunity includes on-site private housing in our historic assisted living residence in downtown Longmont. This position also includes employment for overnight on-call support to residents as well as additional hours if needed. Bross Street Assisted Living operates out of a beautiful historic home where we create a supportive and inspiring environment that allows local seniors to live comfortably and maintain dignity and independence. Our team is committed to providing exceptional, individualized care while fostering a welcoming community for residents and staff alike. The Overnight Caregiver resides on-site and provides overnight safety supervision and support for residents. The caregiver must be physically present in the home overnight and available to respond to resident needs, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care throughout the night. This position supports up to 11 residents living in the assisted living home. This position includes private on-site living quarters located on the second floor of the residence. Housing is offered as a separate agreement specifically to support overnight caregiving responsibilities. Housing includes: Approximately 956 sq. ft. private living space Access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities Utilities included at no cost Convenient location in downtown Longmont

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Assist residents with overnight needs and comfort
  • Administer PRN medications per care plans and MAR documentation
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition
  • Conduct overnight safety checks and walk-throughs at least 1x per night
  • Respond to resident calls or monitoring systems
  • Investigate safety concerns and respond appropriately
  • Respond to incidents including falls, illness, or emergencies
  • Contact emergency services when necessary
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents
