Overnight caregivers provide supervision, companionship, and personal care support to clients in their homes during the evening and overnight hours. Many clients are sleeping for part or most of the shift, but may require: Assistance with evening and morning routines Transfers or mobility support during the night Medication reminders Light housekeeping or laundry Quiet companionship or supervision for peace of mind If you're a CNA or a PCA with proper training, you may also provide hands-on personal care, such as: Dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Feeding assistance Ambulation and transferring Bathing and toileting support Incontinence care
