About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and attentive Overnight Caregiver to provide weekend support to an individual during overnight hours. The caregiver will be responsible for providing a safe and calming environment, reminding the individual of their preferred bedtime, and ensuring their well-being throughout the night.

Requirements

• Two valid forms of identification
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Negative TB (tuberculosis) test result
• Previous caregiving or overnight experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout overnight shifts
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Remind the individual when they want to go to bed and assist with a smooth transition to sleep
• Monitor and maintain a safe, quiet, and secure environment overnight
• Be attentive to any needs that may arise during the night
• Light housekeeping tasks if needed during downtime like tidying up common areas
• Medication reminders, if applicable
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with the individual and family
