About The Position

Phoenix Home Care is looking for a kind and dependable caregiver to support a senior client in Cherryvale. This is an overnight position ideal for someone who is attentive, patient, and committed to helping someone stay safe and comfortable at home.
The need is for evening into overnight care. You will help with meals, personal care and dressing, and guiding the client through their nightly routine. Throughout the night, you will remain alert and ready to assist, as the client has a higher risk for falls and may need support at any time.
There may be opportunities to rest while the client is sleeping, but you must always be available and attentive to their needs.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals and evening care
• Provide personal care and help with dressing
• Support nightly routines
• Offer companionship, reassurance, and supervision throughout the night
• Stay alert and ready to respond to needs and reduce risk of falls
