Overnight Awake Staff - Adult Supports
About The Position
Evergreen Center is seeking Overnight Awake Staff responsible for the health, safety and comfort of individuals supported by the Adult Supports Division. Evergreen's Adult Supports Division was created to provide a range of residential programs for adults with intellectual and developmental challenges served by the Commonwealth's Department of Developmental Services. Evergreen Center welcomes all individuals from various backgrounds and experiences through cultural equity, inclusion, and diversity. The mission of the Adult Residential Supports Division is to support the individuals to make independent choices while pursuing a life centered in a community involvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- MAP Certified, or willing to become certified within three months of hire date
Responsibilities
- Implement personal care needs for the individuals.
- Complete head checks at specified intervals.
- Collect overnight behavioral, medical, or instructional data.
- Report any health and safety issues or any behavioral observations.
- Safely transport individuals to scheduled recreational activities within the community.
- Ensure their comfort and well-being during transit, maintaining a supportive and respectful atmosphere.
