The Overnight Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and cleanliness of the resort during overnight hours. This role acts as the main overnight point of contact for guests and colleagues, helping oversee the overnight cleaning team and overnight auditor to ensure the resort remains in excellent condition through the night. While not a manager, this position provides guidance and support to overnight staff, responds to issues and emergencies, and keeps operations running smoothly. This role combines light security work, guest service, and some housekeeping tasks. The Overnight Ambassador may cover Night Audit shifts when needed and may provide rides for guests or colleagues within the property or nearby. A valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and make good decisions under pressure
  • Previous experience in security, housekeeping, front desk, or overnight operations preferred
  • Comfortable providing direction and support to overnight cleaning staff and auditor
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Calm and professional demeanor in stressful or emergency situations
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main overnight contact for guests and colleagues, responding to questions, concerns, and incidents promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and patrol resort grounds to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property
  • Oversee the overnight cleaning team and overnight auditor, providing support to ensure public spaces stay clean and operations stay on track
  • De-escalate guest or colleague issues, respond to injuries or incidents, and communicate with other departments when necessary
  • Conduct routine checks of entry points and secure all areas as needed
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or incidents clearly and promptly
  • Perform light cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash in public areas
  • Report maintenance issues for prompt repair
  • Cover Night Audit shifts when required, completing reports and tasks accurately
  • Provide safe transportation for guests or colleagues when needed
