This role involves performing all daily audit functions for the front office and each outlet of the hotel, ensuring accuracy in room and tax postings, and timely posting of all house charges. Responsibilities also include completing daily backups of the front office computer system and night audit program, as well as performing rebuilds of the front office system, reservation, and other related computer maintenance when applicable. The agent must understand, know, and follow the management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures. Additionally, the position is responsible for all front desk functions, including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, and PBX operation, ensuring calls are answered promptly. Guests should be treated promptly, warmly, courteously, and professionally, and provided with accurate and clear directions to their room locations.
