About The Position

Collins Aerospace in Wilson is seeking a highly motivated, driven, results-oriented Production Maintenance Supervisor to support the manufacturing of fire suppression and detection systems used in Commercial and Military aircraft and vehicles across multiple product lines.

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
Experience working in a commercial/industrial environment with maintenance or engineering responsibilities.
Proven leadership experience

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with MS Office Suite
SAP/SRM/DART Operating System knowledge
Experience in Total Production Maintenance (TPM) methodology tools

Responsibilities

Supervise and train a team of production maintenance employees and ensure adherence to all departmental procedures, best practices, guidelines and safety policies
Sets prioritization of day-to-day goals, operational objectives, emergencies, machine down and preventative maintenance activity
Maintain detailed maintenance training records
Communicates daily with operations personnel to manage maintenance activities and escalates issues as required
Ensures accuracy and completeness of all maintenance documentation
Supports new equipment purchases, implementation and training
Ensure all tools and repair equipment are in good working order
Ensure adherence of maintenance departmental procedures, policies, best practices and guidelines
Research time lost due to equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for improvement
Supervise the progress of work orders and ensure timely completion
