The primary purpose of this role is to install and/or repair overhead (garage) doors, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Proficiently install overhead doors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
Efficiently repair overhead doors, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to restore functionality.
Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and smooth operation of doors.
Safely remove or disassemble defective automatic mechanical door closers using appropriate hand tools.
Accurately order replacement springs, sections, or slats as needed for repairs.
Inspect job sites, assessing headroom, side room, and other conditions to determine the suitability of the door for a given location.
Follow up on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
Interact with customers and subcontractors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs consistently throughout the day.
