Lineman C1 performs electrical construction work including maintaining poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities and equipment for distributing electricity. You will build single phase tangent energized facilities above 600 volts. Experience required is second year, first six months. You will report to the crew Foreman. CDL is required Work Location is Corpus Christy, Texas.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical powerline industry
All the skills required for Lineman D2
Understand basic electricity, MAD, proper PPE, proper IPP and how to Install
Pass evaluation of competency before promotion and activity in the Apprenticeship Training Program
CDL class A

Responsibilities

Work on utility poles and fixtures on limited energized situations
Demonstrate proper cover application, handling energized primary conductors
Test primary lines for grounding and demonstrate proper grounding techniques
Frame transformer and install secondary and service
Follow safety performance requirements
Introduction in meter work, safety in meter work, framing and guying poles, material handling, bucket trucks and proper cover procedures
Complete required company training, including safety training
Perform Administrative duties as required
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
