About The Position

This position is ideal for someone who can act as a switch hitter, meaning you’ll be ready to take on various tasks as needed. The Material Handler will assist with a variety of duties, including skidding, operating machines, using an overhead crane, parts cleaning, and more.

Requirements

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery safely.
• Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take on various tasks across different areas of production.

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, and stage materials within the facility.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and assist with production processes.
• Help with skidding materials, ensuring that all items are appropriately packaged and prepared for shipment.
• Run machines as needed to support production, ensuring smooth operations.
• Perform parts cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and readiness of materials.
• Assist with inventory management, keeping track of materials and supplies.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Provide support to various departments as required to ensure efficient production workflows.
