About The Position

Estes is seeking Regional OTR Drivers to operate various types of equipment for the transportation of freight. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 21 years of age as per FMCSA regulations with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the terminal or work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements required.
• Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs or more as required by job functions.
• Familiarity with state motor vehicle laws and FMCSA regulations.
• Pass a FMCSA required medical exam and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer in the transportation of freight according to laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure the security of equipment and cargo during transportation.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the general public.
• Adhere to all FMCSA requirements for Commercial Driver's License holders.
• Drive in various terrains and environmental conditions, including hazardous weather.
• Utilize in-cab technology, including electronic logs, as required.
