About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. These positions could work in any department of Sanitation. The sanitation process uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals. At Tyson, we feed the world like family. Requirements

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds (for some positions)
Must work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments
Ability to use hands and arms above shoulder level
Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hours per day
Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time limit
