Job Overview: 2nd Shift : $17.25 + Premium Pay The responsibility of the Vacuum Machine Operator is to operate computerized equipment to produce various molded products to efficiency and quality standards.

  • Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins.
  • Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job.
  • Maintains equipment required for vac machines.
  • Stages product properly after molding and move to required staging location.
  • Complete all assigned projects by the due date.
  • Review production priorities.
  • Must meet or exceed all training requirements including those related to quality standards and attend scheduled shift meetings or other meetings required.
  • Meets or exceeds production targets.
  • Produces molded products using various methods designated for the job, including use of oven controls, machine setup, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Inspects product for conformance to quality standards.
  • 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to operate and maintain industrial equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read tape measure and calipers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
