Requirements

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Practice good safety habits and have a good safety record
  • Practice good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
  • Have and maintain good attendance
  • Practice good housekeeping at all times
  • Must be able to work with support groups to make sure lines are ready to start on time and minimized downtime
  • Must know product specifications and how to maintain correct specifications and lines speeds
  • Must be willing to follow oral and written instructions
  • Must be willing to be flexible
  • Organization and written skills
  • General knowledge of computers
  • Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work 812-hour shifts, standing
  • Must be willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair/beard net, hearing protection, and rubber boots with safety toe
  • Must be willing to withstand cold and hot environments
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training in other areas

Responsibilities

  • Set up oven for specific product from oven profile for that product
  • Communicate with internal customers on PPM to ensure spacing of pans is correct
  • Inspect general quality of product and report any discrepancies to supervisor making changes where necessary to produce a quality product
  • Maintain equipment and operate assigned equipment
  • Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift
  • Accurately complete all necessary production documentation where applicable
  • Know basic operations of assigned equipment basic trouble solving techniques
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas
  • Must sweep and clean area during and after shift
