About The Position

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Platform Architect to lead the modernization of legacy front-end and back-end systems using the OutSystems low-code platform. This role will oversee both UI transformation and back-end integration, establishing a future-proof architecture that simplifies delivery and improves user experience across our agent and customer-facing platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years experience designing and delivering OutSystems-based full-stack solutions.
• Strong knowledge of front-end UX design principles, including mobile-first development.
• Experience building modular, maintainable UI libraries in OutSystems.
• Familiarity with legacy UI systems and best practices for phased UI replacement.
• Certified as OutSystems Tech Lead or Architecture Specialist.
• Experience with performance tuning, observability, and DevOps integration for OS apps.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the end-to-end architecture for OutSystems web and mobile applications, with a focus on modern, modular front-end design.
• Drive the replacement of legacy UIs (Silverlight, .NET, static HTML) with reusable OutSystems components and responsive interfaces.
• Partner with design and product teams to ensure OutSystems experiences meet global UX standards and align with brand and accessibility guidelines.
• Implement performance-optimized patterns for screen rendering, caching, and user interactions across platforms.
• Integrate OutSystems apps with enterprise services (Oracle, TMR, SQL, APIs) using REST/SOAP connectors.
• Lead platform governance, code quality standards, and reusability frameworks.
• Mentor developers on front-end architecture best practices and OutSystems-specific techniques like block reuse, screen lifecycle management, and mobile responsiveness.
