We are looking for a OutSystems Architect to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC with our global client. Overview: We are seeking an OutSystems Developer to support a high‑visibility, ongoing modernization initiative within our client’s procurement organization. This implementation will support procurement activities ranging from large‑scale service engagements to global infrastructure initiatives

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience with OutSystems architecture and development, with proven delivery across Reactive Web and Mobile.
Strong experience integrating OutSystems applications with AWS services and enterprise systems.
Deep expertise with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
Demonstrated experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of security, IAM, and compliance practices in hybrid or cloud-hosted environments.
Ability to design modular, scalable, and reusable solutions across low-code and hybrid cloud ecosystems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex technical environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable OutSystems applications across Reactive Web, Mobile, and ODC environments.
Define end-to-end architectural standards for modularity, performance, reusability, and maintainability.
Create technical blueprints, solution diagrams, and reference architectures.
Architect and implement integrations with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Ensure alignment with enterprise networking, identity, security, and cost-optimization best practices.
Design API-based integrations using REST/SOAP, microservices, and enterprise messaging patterns.
Establish secure coding standards, IAM controls, and compliance requirements across OutSystems and cloud environments.
Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise‑grade security and regulatory expectations.
Lead CI/CD pipeline design and automated deployment practices.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to support scalable delivery.
Drive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Guide developers and technical teams through architecture reviews and solution design sessions.
Oversee code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural principles.
Produce detailed documentation and lead knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
