About The Position
You will be an integral part of an Outsourced Trading Desk team Directly support senior trading professionals in execution and day-to-day support of portfolio managers Build and automate investment related tasks for senior staff Monitor Trading blotter for execution accuracy Monitor daily industry and company-specific news flow, summarizing key takeaways for distribution to investment teams Communicate clearly and concisely with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Executing brokers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record
- 1-4 years equity trading or investment experience
- Highly motivated, confident and passion for equities
- Lives in New York or willing to relocate
- Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work with a team and independently to meet strict deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Ability to code in: Python, Java, C, C++, etc a plus
