Requirements

  • Working towards a BS or MS in Accounting, or related field
  • Resumes without GPA will not be considered
  • Transcript upload is required
  • Strong commitment to excellence, client service and professional growth
  • The ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues as well as potential solutions
  • Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Be a team player and motivated to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs
  • A strong ability to understand the 'big picture' quickly, identify key issues, and prioritize analysis/output among many competing tasks

Responsibilities

  • Code cash disbursements and receipts into QuickBooks system from client documents
  • Enter submitted invoices into bill pay management system
  • Enter submitted receipts into expense management system
  • Maintain chart of accounts
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record payroll journal entry from payroll reports
  • Scanning of pertinent client documents into the Engagement binder
  • Prepare journal entries and record them into the QuickBooks system
  • Assist client in maintaining W-9s for subcontractors and service providers
