As a n Outsource Supervisor, Implementation, you will ensure World of Warcraft C haracter A rt assets, such as w eapons, a rmor, c reature s , p ets, m ounts, and more, will transition into game-ready assets ! You will collaborate with the internal teams and external partners to execute deadlines with quality. You have a passion for Warcraft and low-poly hand-painted art! Y ou have acute attention to detail for a rtistic s tandards, t echnical b e nchmarks , and p roduction p ractices as assets are prepare d for in-game . You will have a strong understanding of file management, 3 D and 2D software, non-proprietary tool s and game engine s , production tools, and experience with character art, skinning, animation, materials, and FX. As art leaves the Character Team, it is important that we have clean assets and strong communication with our downstream teams, such as Rigging, Animation, FX, Marketing, and Design. You will be responsible for supervising assets that require additional details before implementation, such as texture/model cleanup, minor FX/animation/skinning, and the fitting of armor to the variety of player races in World of Warcraft. You will uphold documentation and maintain that training is in sync with our pipeline and workflows. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options , including remote work arrangements.
