About The Position

The Outside Service Attendant at the Lodge is responsible for providing excellent guest relations and communication skills to assist members and guests upon their arrival at the golf course. The role promotes the Sea Island legacy of warm, genuine hospitality while ensuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Golf knowledge preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent credentials preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be 16 years of age or older to drive a company golf cart

  • Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work with a variety of people

  • Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be neatly groomed and in compliance with Company Dress Code Policy

Responsibilities

  • Stage and prepare golf carts for daily play prior to the guests' arrival
  • Store and clean clubs for all guests and members
  • Assist golf professionals in the operation of golf tournaments and outings
  • Assist in the transportation of golf clubs to other locations
  • Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guests and Members
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area
  • Complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues and follow-up on issues as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
  • Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices to supervisor immediately
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
  • Execute other duties as delegated by leadership
