About The Position

The Body Shop Outside Sales Representative solicits business from assigned territory by developing and maintaining customer contacts and generating potential new business contacts. Would spend more than 50% of time outside the office engaging in the procurement of Commercial Collision Repair. Compensation: $75,000 / year This role as unlimited earning potential ! Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in Body shop/Collision Centers of the trucking industry
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related field required. Technician experience an asset.
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Bi-lingual ( English . Spanish) is considered an asset.
  • Must exhibit leadership qualities and exhibit teamwork qualities
  • Proficient knowledge of basic computer functions as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Commercial Collision Repair Processes and pricing
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities through social media platforms, online marketplaces, and other digital channels
  • Schedule appointments and visit existing and potential customers to review Bodyshop needs and determine other opportunities.
  • Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner.
  • Checks credit of potential customers.
  • Introduces customers and prospective customers to VVG’s financing department.
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
  • Communicate repair estimates to proper inside VVG employees
  • Meet or exceed new business sales goals
  • Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointments with decision makers
  • Schedule and document activities
  • Prepare and draft estimates and other paperwork needed to complete the repair in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
  • Regularly meet with Body Shop Managers to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers
  • Advise Body Shop Managers of any special needs
  • Act as public relations liaison for VVG
  • Create sales material to present to customers.
  • Participating in trade shows, training or associated product meetings when necessary.
  • Report contacts, meetings, potential leads to managers.
